A small peek at what happens outside of the wireframes.

Additional Experience

Design mentor for a
UX/UI Online Bootcamp 💙

In 2020, I joined DesignLab as a mentor for USA and Canadian students.
My aim was to share my knowledge and support designers as they transition into the tech industry. Through one-on-one sessions I provide guidance and insights to help them navigate this career shift with confidence and curiosity for design. More specifically, I teach them the different stages that a traditional design project goes through: research, ideation, wireframing, UI design and handoff to development. All of it being applicable to projects such as an end-to-end app, an informational website or a new feature inside an already existing app. These mentorships span a period of six months or more, by which time they have a design portfolio of 4 projects that they have created themselves.

Design Facilitator for
In-person and Online Courses.

Since 2020 I have also accompanied non-designers to understand the value of a design mindset for their projects. I did this by designing and teaching in-person workshops on user journeys for Interbank. These workshops would usually have +60 attendees.

I have also had the opportunity to co-design Rapid Prototyping using Figma sessions. These were taught in the Digital Leadership route of Colectivo23, an EdTech in Latin America focused on enhancing digital skills and mindset for professionals.
